I love logging onto fighter ace and finding the level 2 free for all loaded up with 30 to 40 other pilots.  Suddenly, I am glancing out the canopy of my P-47 and seeing the other players whirling and burning in a big frenzy as I pull her over and point the nose down and below the fur ball pushing the throttle up to 'war emergency power' .

I can feel the G's pulling me deeper into the seat.  As the speed reaches 400 mph I find myself on the tail of a Frank and squeeze off a burst from my eight 50 calibers and hit her squarely, then the Frank veers off to my right.  I am levelled off now and running headlong into a line of 15 fighters, each intent on flaming the plane before him.

With a closure rate of 600 to 700 mph I start veering from my course just enough to bring my guns to bear on as many of the planes as possible, occasionally registering a hit, sometimes a devastating blow, but I keep on my straightest course to keep my speed up.  I exit the rush of planes and do a jubilant roll, as I level off I see a FW  above and just ahead, his path crossing mine, and he doesn't even see me.

My speed is still up, I pull up and deliver a solid burst and see smoke immediately start to billow from the GE plane.  My Jug ascends quickly past three thousand feet and higher, that GE plane spins into the sea and I start to see the credit for his demise going to me, then two more credits as other planes I had mortally wounded fall into the sea a couple miles away.  I glance at my damage indicator and smile as I realize that I had not been hit once.

I gently pull back and do a lazy roll over and back towards the whirling, burning frenzy.  I smile as I push her throttle back into 'war emergency power', check the gear and flap settings and aim the nose of my little Jug down into the fur ball again.
